Questions internationals ask us
Can international tenants rent an apartment in Odense with you?
Yes. International tenants are welcome in all our apartments. We handle viewings, leases and support in English, and you get one local point of contact from first enquiry to move-out.
Do you rent out flats or apartments?
Both, they are the same thing. "Flat" is the British term and "apartment" the American, and in Danish it's "lejlighed". Whatever you call it, we have flats for rent in Odense in every size, from 1-room studios to 5-room homes, most in the city centre.
Can I register my CPR address at the apartment?
Yes. All our apartments are approved for CPR registration. You rent your own apartment on your own lease, so you can register your address in Denmark and access healthcare, banking and other services. New to CPR? Read our CPR number guide.
Do you offer furnished apartments in Odense?
Yes. Through servicedapartments.dk we offer fully furnished apartments with leases from 3 months, and we can furnish almost any apartment in our portfolio on request.
Is the lease and communication in English?
Danish leases are legally issued on the standard Danish contract form, but we walk you through every clause in English before you sign, and all communication with us can be in English.
When do I pay deposit and rent?
You always review and sign your lease first. The deposit, typically three months' rent, is only paid after you have a signed lease, to a Danish company account. This protects you from rental scams.
